SantaSuits.com Exchange Policy
The costume industry standard has always been that there are no returns or exchanges due to the nature of the business. However, because of the fact that our items are bought over the Internet, cannot be tried on ahead of time and are bought site unseen, we have developed the following policy for exchanges. Of course, we hope that you are happy with your selection since costumes are meant to be fun and to have fun in. If for any reason you are not happy with your selection, our policy is as follows:
SantaSuits.com features many specialty items and therefore we only allow exchanges for costumes and merchandise. You will need to email us for an authorization to send back the merchandise you are exchanging for, see below for the instructions on what to do. Please note there are some items that are final sale and cannot be canceled once the order is placed and cannot be returned or exchanged. Please see the exchange policy below for instructions on exchanging an item that is eligible for exchanging.
The following items are final sale and cannot be exchanged: Makeup, Wigs, Beards, Mustaches, Socks, Tights, Shoes, Boots, Novelty Teeth, Fangs, large scale decorations and props, Statues and Collectibles, mascot costumes, and items marked Special Order. Costumes that include a wig or beard cannot be exchanged.
Once an order is placed, we are not able to cancel the order.
As long as your merchandise does not fall into the above categories, you may exchange for the same item or other merchandise of equal or greater value.
Exchanges are only handled through emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. An authorization is needed to send back any merchandise as part of an exchange. All exchange authorization requests must be emailed to us within 7 days of receiving your order. Orders that you have had for more than 7 days will not be eligible to be exchanged for any reason, no exceptions.
Email your request to exchange to email@example.com and be sure to include your invoice # and the name on your order.
The merchandise you are returning as part of your exchange must be in new condition in the original packaging.
The refund issued for the returned part of your exchange is for merchandise only, shipping charges are not refunded and there is a $5 exchange handling fee. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges. A refund will be posted to the original card you used or you can request a store credit. If you paid by check or money order, a check will be mailed to you. Refunds can take up to 4 weeks.
All refunds are subject to inspection and will be issued at Metamorphic eCommerce, Inc.'s discretion only.
Unauthorized returns will be refused with no credit or will be subject to a 30% restocking fee plus a $5 handling fee and shipping is not refunded at all. This includes packages refused by customers and instances when a customer provided an incorrect shipping address.
If you have received an item in error or there happens to be any problem with your order, please let us know so that we can make it right.
